🍂 The first day of fall has arrived! Let the cozy season commence. Sweaters, crunchy leaves, c***r, pumpkins... we’re ready for it all! 🤎🎃

This September, there are two glasses worth talking about. Both are single-barrel, barrel-strength bourbons. They come to you exactly as they left the wood, with absolutely no water added to soften the proof, think 141.1 and 141.8 proof. As bourbon ages in the upper tiers of a rickhouse, water slowly evaporates through the wood-what the industry calls the “angel’s share”, causing the proof to climb. A barrel-strength bourbon clearing 141 proof means the angels were exceptionally generous.

Two barrels. Same source. Different proof. Remarkably different personalities. The distillery remains unrevealed; that’s part of the secret experience. Tasting
these rare selections side by side is one is the most illuminating things you can
do during Bourbon Heritage Month. 🥃

“When the extensive grid of roads in the Hamlet was first being constructed on August 8, 2021, it seemed like it would take an eternity to fully develop that entire area. But take a look at what five years of home building can accomplish!

The recent aerial picture on June 23, 2026, shows the remarkable progress in the Hamlet, which continues to expand into the distance. Imagine what another five years will bring!” - Jan Diener
