Today is HCM Awareness Day—but what is hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM)?
HCM is a disease in which the heart muscle becomes thickened, or hypertrophied, which makes it harder for the heart to pump blood. HCM is a common genetic disorder that affects people regardless of gender, ethnicity, age, or geographic location.

As we close out Hispanic Heritage Month, we want to remind everyone that celebrating and learning about Hispanic and Latinx cultures and traditions can be done anytime of the year.
