I have always been fond of storytelling in all its mediums. Photography has been my choice of storytelling medium for some years now. Framing and capturing single moments in time, then enhancing them to tell a story. When I've done my job right, you, the viewer can take from my photos hopefully the feeling I had when I took that photo, but to also come away with feelings of your own. It's a magic

I'm continuing shooting and posting the same assignments I give my students in class with this week's David Hockney "Joiner" inspired photo collage self-portrait. Whew, what a mouthful. But I really like how this came out, despite being someone who doesn't normally do a ton of abstract work. So this is from a minute ago back in February before the world flipped upside-down, but as a result of said world flipping, I now actually have some time to do something with some recent shots like this.
