This could shake up housing supply, pricing, and first-time buyer access - big time.

A lot of the shortage has been caused by by institutional investors buying up housing supplies across the country, forcing buyers to spend more on homes or not purchase at all.

Some feel like this is an over reach and goes against capitalistic principals.
