The Carbon & Emery County Business Expansion and Retention (BEAR) program is a community-wide effort to support, grow, and enhance the economic impact of existing businesses. The BEAR team understands that economic development goes hand in hand with workforce and community development, and our efforts are devoted toward building a dynamic plan that is inclusive of these critical disciplines.

Happy Middle Ages Day.
May 29, 1453 is considered by many historians to be the end of the Middle Ages, (and therefore the Beginning of the Renaissance), and because of this, some people decided it would be good to celebrate the End of the Middle Ages, and some even call it a good day to give gifts.
