Throwback Thursday… that’s still a thing, right!? If not, we are bringing it back.

This week marked the beginning of our fall projects! Many of our clients who sign in August and September do so in hopes of having their project completed for holiday time. Between having family and friends visiting over and spending more time indoors, sometimes you just need to find new ways to make your space work for the season of life you are in.

This week’s throwback is personal. Natassja Miller Conway loves hosting her family and having a dedicated guest room was key as the kids have gotten older and take up more space. In anticipation of entering the preteen/teenage years they refinished their basement in 2024, to include a guest bedroom and flex space.

Having your kids fall in love with the same sport you loved is so much fun! Natassja Miller Conway grew up swimming competitively and now both of her kiddos are swimmers, so when the time came for a bathroom refresh they were all in on this adorable wallpaper!

Natassja upgraded the builder grade mirror with a diy project! She applied half wood spheres along the perimeter of the mirror to create a dupe of the bobbin head trimmed mirrors! Next, she opted for a double shower curtain to add dimension, added a new rug, updated the shower hooks, and voilá a new and improved bathroom for her preteens!

Our client needed assistance designing and making selections for their primary bathroom remodel. The goal was to create an updated but warm transitional vibe with champagne gold metals.

Warm wood tones to play off the solid stained wood doors in the home. In the design Natassja Miller Conway removed the planters ledge and added a tall linen cabinet to accentuate the tall ceilings. She opted for art deco glass light fixtures for a 1940’s classic vibe and balanced them with zellige tiles laid vertically for modern flair. We think everything plays beautifully together, what do you think?

Our newest designer, Amy Loochtan, designed this beautiful laundry room for our clients in Central Ohio. The goal of this project was to create a colorful and storage focused laundry room that made laundry day feel less chaotic.

The project started with removing the exterior door which allowed Amy to maximize every inch of the laundry room for storage. She then selected this fun vibrant tile to pair with the brand new white cabinetry. By stacking the washer and dryer they gained counter top space and more storage. Add in a small sink and some decor, and this family has a laundry room that actually works for their lifestyle!

Our returning client in Powell has a bustling home with active kiddos and wanted additional space for them to hang out with friends and have sleepovers, while keeping it neutral enough for the whole family to enjoy.

Basements can be tricky with so many existing elements to work around. Natassja Miller Conway designed this room layout with a sofa bar to incorporate the existing steel support column and worked with our carpenter, Jared, to create this beautiful accent wall that hides the electrical box within the design.

Once the layout and special features were covered we helped to source new furniture including this modular sofa with endless configurations, bar stools from The Home Depot, a new table and chairs, lighting, and ottomans!

Add in decor, artwork, and some cozy touches and the living room space was teen girl approved! They even had a sleepover the day after install and it was the perfect amount of space to house their friends for the night!

Our clients in Lewis Center are back and this time we tackled their primary bathroom! If you scroll to the end of our photos, you will see the before pictures, and the previous layout limited space in the bathroom and boosted a large tub that was rarely used.

We partnered with Frasure Home Improvements LLC to bring the bathroom of their dreams to life. We used Cambria in a shower, and we love how it turned out! We love that this bathroom has more functional space, details like the niche behind the shower, beautiful natural light, geometric black matte tiles to break up the clean white and fun details like the towel warmer to really make this space feel luxurious.

We love working with our returning clients in Hilliard, and this project was especially fun! The goal was to create an additional hang out space with an added cozy “princess hangout” for their daughter under the stairs!

Natassja went with the Lovesac Sactional, curated a collection of movie posters from etsy, and added in additional seating and accent furniture. The Princess hangout boasts the coziest rug from Pottery Barn Kids, a Magic Wall in black, and fun sprinkle decals we arranged to look like wallpaper.

We can’t wait for them to enjoy this additional family room for years to come!
