The Crunch Fitness 5K is a fundraiser for Anderson Center for Autism. There are no major hills and much of the course is tree-lined.
The Crunch Fitness 5K takes place on a scenic, point-to-point course in the middle of spring. It starts in front of Crunch Poughkeepsie (2 Neptune Rd., Poughkeepsie) and courses through the Crown Heights neighborhood. Kelvin Kiptum, the Marathon World Record holder (2:00:35) passed away today in a car crash in Kenya. Imagine running on the treadmill at 13.0mph for two straight hours. He was truly a marvel on the road.
