We're thrilled to share that Poughkeepsie PorchFest was nominated by Destination Dutchess for the Collaboration Award of Distinction! Our event could not happen without the collaboration of the City of Poughkeepsie, our neighbors who lend their porches and host the event and the many, many musicians and performers from all over Poughkeepsie and beyond who share their music and talents, and of course, Christ Episcopal Church - Poughkeepsie, NY which hosts our food trucks and children’s activities. We are very proud to share the recognition for this event, built by our community over the last 6 years! Congratulations to the other nominees in the Collaboration category - and stay tuned for the results on November 13th!

We are always amazed at how many local folks have never been to Kaal Rock Park.

Gina, the smiling face at the Hudson Valley Falafel truck, grew up here and was unfamiliar with Kaal Rock Park when we asked her and her partner to bring their food truck to our concerts. She expressed amazement at the views of the mountains and bridges and wonders how she never knew about this spot.

With her restaurant on wheels, she enjoys being out in the community, sharing great food, finding out about talented local musicians and getting to know so many new people. She says "Every new experience makes me so proud to live here."

Come and enjoy the music, local food and beverages on Saturday and be sure to stop by the Hudson Valley Falafel truck and say hi to Gina!
