a gorgeous time of year: February!! we get to welcome in the winter light festival as art pieces begin to be installed around the city, and today, the full moon rises and the sky was clear!

We’re heading out on street art bike tours and forest park hiking tours and all holding our breath here for the next thing for the world to bring down on us. We’re mourning community members taken unjustly by ICE, we’re mourning the national assault on rights, we’re mourning the continual break down of the fiction of the rule of law.

the mountain has been out a LOT lately. the sun in January always seems like either a gift or a trick — we’re never sure. who ARE you, January sun? maybe it makes it easier to deal with the wild world out here. we’re worried for our neighbors.
