I have so many photosI need to work through, in some ways I think it is good to be seperate in time from the captured frame allong with close to when captured... When I go back to photos from trips, hikes, events, photoshoots that I did work on many close to when taken I do find new insperation and takes to the art. Different photos catch my eye, different ways of processing them etc... However I also feel bad that I haven't brought more images to shareable form, especially when they are photos taken with others... But when I'm in places where I can't focus, or feel bleh, down, struggling etc I also feel as I'll do injustice to the art that was, is, and will be... Ah the struggles of me as I seek to create

Pondering life, editing photos and drinking tea...

Life has it's ups and downs. I took this photo on the day I had an infusion treatment for , I was tired from the meds that had been put into me hours earlier and perhaps not in the best place to be shooting, yet her skills and talents helped lead to some wonderful images being captured anyway. I have been slow to work through them, but here I sit today as I work on images, drink tea and reflect.
The med I had that day I have now been on for about 3 and a half years, last week I probably had my last dose of it as my body has developed resistance to the treatment. I've been in a flare for over a month, on additional meds to try to handle it, I think am finally near the end of it. This morning had labs done in anticipation to switching to something else to bring back and maintain remission....
As I sat with photos and tea today, I bumped a key and it zoomed in on her face, and something about the eyes and expression spoke to me, what exactly I'm not sure... so I made a cropped version of her face to share the wonder that captured my thoughts today... Peace be with you all.

My computer has been acting up every time I try to work on photos the past few weeks, but finally it behaved a bit this weekend and I worked though a few images before it started misbehaving again, this one as shot no editing...
