This was a test shot to check the lighting, and it turned out to be one of my favorites. ✨

If you’ve ever tried taking pictures of a toddler, you know they never stop moving and forced smiles rarely translate on photos. Sometimes letting go of the picture perfect expectation and letting them bring their favorite stuffy, while wearing the best rain boots is where it’s at. Always bring snacks, and maybe ask them to tell you their favorite joke.

After a two year hiatus (thanks Covid), a couple of moves, an entire pregnancy and now a 10 month old baby, I’m back! I’m really excited to move back into photography with a newfound perspective and love for maternity and family photos. I still absolutely love birth photography, but with my own baby to care for, my focus will be on capturing some beautiful, warm, and candid moments between families and expecting parents. So excited to share this recent shoot with you!
