Simple bottle forms — a place I return to often.

Making vessels has become a kind of foundation for my practice: a way to explore proportion, balance, and line through the most essential silhouette.

Two forms in quiet conversation.

Recent work in glass exploring rhythm, weight, and spatial relation. I am interested in how objects speak to one another, to their surroundings, to nature, and to us.

Resting and suspended forms in spatial relation.

Blown and carved furnace glass, wood, and wire.

I’ve been busy finishing up a few final pieces in the studio today, and getting ready for a special presentation tomorrow .

I will be joining Sterling Collins and Carson Culp for a showcase set among Pomarius’ incredible nursery grounds. Their gardens are full of texture, form, color, and architectural hardscapes — the perfect setting to share new work.

We’ll also be joined by Cristom Vineyards , pouring wine from the Willamette Valley.

If you’re in Portland, I’d love for you to stop by, wander the nursery, and spend some time with us.

Revisiting a photo collaboration with . I love the way she styled and captured this trio of Flora Decor bottles — her eye for light and composition makes these glassworks feel entirely new to me.

I’m excited to share a collection of works I recently produced for this weekend. Hope to see you there!

A pairing of Pebble Lamps, captured by my friend Alba Betancourt — styled and glowing in their finished form.

Swipe to see the works in process: a batch of shades nearing completion and soon to be paired with their glass bases. Each one begins as a hand-formed wire framework, encased in washi paper, then infused with wax to archive the structure to last for years to come.

I will be showing a collection of this series . Please refer to the details and links in my bio page for more information.

I’m honored to have several pieces included in an upcoming exhibition at Kobo Gallery in Seattle, opening August 8th. The show brings together functional works in glass that quietly shape the environments we live in — a perfect home for the Pebble Lamp and a few new forms.

Curated around the idea of living with glass, not just looking at it, this show explores the beauty of materials in use — light diffused through paper, a curve that invites the hand, an object that becomes part of the rhythm of a space.

The lineup of participating artists is exceptional — a deeply thoughtful group of makers whose work I admire greatly. It’s a privilege to be in such company.
