Portland Walk for Recovery 2025 {{MetaTags.description}}
09/19/2025
At Oregon Change Clinic, we believe recovery means caring for the whole person. That’s why we offer our clients Intro to Yoga—a gentle, trauma-informed practice designed to support healing in body, mind, and spirit.
How yoga supports recovery:
Lowers stress and promotes calm
Improves sleep and rest
Increases body awareness and grounding
Reconnects you to your breath—an essential tool in healing
You don’t need prior experience or special gear—just the willingness to show up for yourself. Whether you’re brand-new to movement or rediscovering it, this space is for you.
At Oregon Change Clinic, we walk alongside you: Hope. Change. Thrive.
One breath at a time. One step at a time.

Time: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Location: Pioneer Courthouse Square, 701 SW 6th Ave., Portland, OR 97204
About the Walk:
The Walk for Recovery raises money and awareness for Oregon’s recovery community. Each walk follows a two-mile route past treatment providers, recovery houses, detox centers, and MAT clinics — a visible reminder of the strength and hope that exists in our city.
The route starts at Pioneer Courthouse Square and loops around downtown Portland, with Oregon Change Clinic as the halfway point for hydration, encouragement, and connection.

We’re so proud of our CEO & Founder, Shannon Jones Isadore, for being honored as the very first Jay Minor Spirit of Recovery Award recipient by FORA Health!
For nearly 50 years, the De Paul Center (now FORA) was a cornerstone of recovery in downtown Portland. Today, Oregon Change Clinic is humbled to carry that torch forward in their former space, continuing the legacy of hope, healing, and recovery for our community.
Thank you, FORA Health, for recognizing Shannon’s leadership and vision—and for trusting us to help carry on this important work.
Our first Jay Minor Spirit of Recovery awardee, Shannon Jones Isadore, has dedicated her life to public safety and the values that unite us as Oregonians.
A trusted and valued voice in advocacy and women's leadership, the founder of the innovative Oregon Change Clinic, and a leader in culturally centered healing, Shannon exemplifies everything the Spirit of Recovery award represents.
Shannon recognizes that we cannot escape the impact of addiction. But with innovative, trauma-informed care, we can charge through it, move around it, and rise above it.
Hear more about how she and her team are helping those in need rise above addiction at the 2025 Hope and Freedom Gala. Get your tickets today: https://forahealth.org/hfg25/
