Tonight, Trump offered the same stale lies in a pathetic attempt to hide the truth that as president, he betrayed workers to govern for the wealthy.
Unions in our country are on the line in this election—and so are union members’ hard-won contracts.

The teachers of Ethos Music Center seek your community support in their effort to create a union at Ethos. A supermajority of teachers signed union cards and respectfully requested voluntary recognition of their union on March 15th. Unfortunately, Ethos’ directors and their Executive Committee refused to meet with the union organizing committee and instead hired Littler Mendelson, an infamous union-busting law firm that has represented Starbucks, Amazon, and other multinational anti-union companies.
So on March 18th, teachers and staff at Ethos Music Center filed with the National Labor Relations Board to hold an election to join the Musicians Union Local 99—that election is scheduled for April 24th!
In a letter to all teachers and staff, the organizing committee wrote:
“Gaining supermajority support for voluntary recognition symbolizes our desire for collective accountability to our community and the mission of Ethos. Our request signifies an open invitation to become a consensus-oriented workplace in service to all of its constituents. Given the pride we share in being a community-focused organization, we hope the administration will take the opportunity to stand and deliver for its community in good faith and transparency.”
These brave teachers are facing a difficult anti-union campaign, and they could use support from people like you who know the value of being in a union. Please take just a minute and add your name to this letter of support, to be delivered to the teachers as they approach their election.
Letter of Support for Ethos Music Center Teachers and Staff "To the teachers and staff of Ethos Music Center, United as your fellow musicians, union members, and steadfast allies across Portland, we rise to stand beside you as you pursue a brighter future through union representation. Your call for a seat at the decision-making table during Ethos' reorganiza...
