For father and son Tyler and Tim Morrison, it’s also a promise.

Summa Realty is a family-run real estate business rooted in Portland, built on a native Oregonian’s commitment to excellence. After so many years of serving their community, they were ready for a brand that matched where the business is headed. We kept the name they’d built their reputation on and elevated everything around it for this next chapter.

The new mark is two peaks, side by side. It reads as rooflines, as mountains, but at its heart it’s a father and son rising together. We paired it with a deep forest green and a warm persimmon orange to pay homage to their past brand, colors that feel grounded in the Pacific Northwest and confident enough to stop you on the street.

From yard signs and business cards to totes, caps, and window decals, the system was designed to show up with intention at every touchpoint. A higher standard, carried all the way through.

Tyler and Tim, thank you for trusting us with something so personal. It was a joy to build this with you. 🏔️

This year, Perspektiiv Design Co. is giving back to the earth through a partnership with 1% For The Planet. 🌎 1% of our annual revenue will go to a vetted environmental nonprofit. It's built into how the studio runs, so every project you trust us with quietly gives back to something bigger.

Laura’s practice is a fractional GC and consulting studio for early-stage founders and start ups, the ones who need real counsel long before they need a firm. Named “Tend” on purpose — a verb about attention and steadiness, chosen for an industry that offers neither easily.

The visual design and creative strategy became a question of restraint. Warmth in professional services is usually designed as softness, and softness reads as inexperience. So we let the type stay heavy and grounded, carried the warmth in the messaging of the icon, and traded the expected navy for olive, a considered red orange, and a quiet periwinkle.

The result is a brand that feels composed rather than corporate. Assured, current, and unmistakably hers.

The lesson underneath it: the quality that sets you apart is often the one you are tempted to smooth away in the name of looking credible. Strategy is protecting it. ✅

On September 22nd, our signature coworking experience returns to Portland, Oregon at Kinship, and we would love for you to join us. ☕️

A few weeks ago, we asked our community that we've poured into for a decade, to show up for Perspektiiv Design Co., and ya'll really showed up!! We're officially one of five studios on the ballot for Willamette Weekly's Best of PDX, alongside some incredible Portland talent. 🎉

To everyone who's nominated, hired, referred, or cheered us on over the past decade: this one's because of you. 🤍

There's a rhythm to running a creative studio, and April had a distinctly outward energy. 🌸

We hosted our event, Coffee & Coworking, with our community at a beautiful fashion coworking space in Portland, gathered our team for a meal at Shalom Y'all (a longtime favorite), and spent real time deepening the relationships that keep this work feeling like more than work. We immersed ourselves in print and packaging at our partner, Premier Press, and celebrated the sale of our hospitality business, Saturday Cabin.

We also welcomed new clients into the studio. Among them: a 20-year-legacy family restaurant we're honored to be partnering with. We also toasted to the completion of a brand identity built for a PNW-based real estate group.

May feels different. We're turning inward, tending to the foundations we've built, leaning fully into our current client work, and thoughtfully exploring new freelancers to bring into our intimate team.

Both seasons matter. The community and the craft. The expansion and the integration.
