On Sunday, members of the community joined us for the official unveiling of our new mural!

The mural, by local artist .drake.art, depicts seed packets that contain bike parts—bells, fenders, wheels, and so on.

Hi there 👋!

Maybe you've seen it already, but Bike Farm's formerly boring outside wall was recently transformed by a mural, designed and created by local artist Lucinda Drake. It's super rad and we're extremely stoked on it.

On Sunday December 7th, we will host an "official" unveiling of this Bike Farm mural to mark the festive occasion that is the completion of several weeks of work by Lucinda. We will gather at Bike Farm at 2:30pm (after the Sunday shift ends), and perform a short "unveiling" ritual. Lucinda will be present to talk about the mural and the vision that went into it.

We are proud of the fact that we were able to work with a local, early-career artist with direct ties to the Portland Bike Community.

Some snacks and non-alcoholic refreshments will be provided.

Thanks to the kind folks at for sending us their helpful disc brake pad poster, and for generously donating a bunch of the more common brake pads! The poster is a great resource for our community to learn about different pad sizes and standards. Have you checked your brake pads recently? If not, maybe now is a good time 👀.
