Some recent pieces out of the studio for new client Carey Gustanski (). I loved these images of Peggy's Cove in Nova Scotia! They really made for great finished pieces printed on canvas and gallery wrapped here in the studio. π

A recent print for new client John Zecca on the Hahnemuhle Photo Rag paper. You might recognize the gentleman in the photo as Bill Monroe--the famous bluegrass musician. John photographed Bill at his home while he was working sound on the documentary High Lonesome. We took the slide and scanned it in at a high resolution, did some retouching, and printed it on the Photo Rag paper. A very satisfying process working with a wonderful image.

Just wanted to pop on here and share about one of the new stocks I have available! This is the Photo Rag Satin paper from Hahnemuhle. A truly gorgeoussss paper for dreamy golden hour shots like this one by . The surface of the paper has a very subtle sheen along with a slight tooth in the cotton base which gives prints a truly unique character. I am continually amazed with the results on this paper for photographs. I'd highly recommend giving it a try for some of your favorite photographs!

Hello friends! I keep neglecting to tell you all that I have some new papers available in the studio. π₯³ Some of you have been ordering these from the β¨οΈsecret menuβ¨οΈ for a few months, but I now officially have everything available on the website for online ordering. I have added a variety of gorgeous papers from Hahnemuhle including the German Etching, Eco-Line Bamboo, Photo Rag, and Photo Rag Satin. Photographed here (from top to bottom) are the Hahnemuhle German Etching, Epson Hot Press Bright, and Hahnemuhle Bamboo--all of which are fine art matte stocks. You can read all about all of the papers I have available on the website under the Printing & Ordering Information page!β
β
Along with the rollout of these new stocks and the 2026 pricing, I have restructured the paper pricing to include 4 price tiers--3 of which are fine art quality! I thought that with the addition of new papers and the need to increase pricing this year, I could carve out some slight differences in the pricing to give folks more of a variety to choose from budget-wise. β
β
If you are curious about some of these new stocks please feel free to make an appointment to touch and feel them in person (always the best) or order a few sample images to be delivered to you! β

First busy holiday season as a momma complete! β
Edie and I will be in on Tuesday for last chance pick ups of completed orders and then I will be closed from December 24th thru to January 6th for an end of the year reset.
It's a long break this year! Surely a few days of it will be admin work, but I also just need the rest. Motherhood is absolutely changing the way that I run this business (and my life!). I want to be more kind to myself so I can be the best mom I can be AND the best printer I can be! I'm really grateful to all of you who have been willing to pivot with me. I am lucky to be coming back to a stack of orders in the new year from folks who decided my work was worth the wait. π
Thank you all! Happy Holidays!!!

The Photo A-GoGo 2025 auction acceptance emails are out! From now until November 22nd, use code "GOGO2025" to get 15% off if you are ordering your submission through the MPW website. If it's not through our website, just mention it's for GoGo and I'll make sure you get that 15% off on your invoice. π
If you have no idea what I'm talking about check out on IG or visit www.bakeryphotocollective.org to learn more! It's too late to submit your image for the auction but it's not too late to bid on one at the event in December.
PS--Yes, you heard that right! This discount is only good until Saturday November 22nd. I've really been trying to protect my peace these days and as a result print turnarounds have been 7-10 business days. So, ordering before the 22nd is really the only way I can guarantee that you'll get your print before the last drop off day on December 7th. π«Άπ

The updates on here have been a little sparse, so I wanted to hop on and assure you all that I'm still here. Wednesday through Saturday by appointment. π I can't believe it's been 4 months now of working with Edie. 2-3 days a week with Edie and 2-3 days of childcare (that's when I get your orders done!). Y'all, Edie will be 6 months old in just a few days. π€― It feels like it's been 5 seconds and 5 years all at the same time!
I've got a few new things in the works (new papers!!! π). I've had a lot of fun testing new stocks and have narrowed down what I want to add--now I just have to figure out how to program them into the website for online ordering. π« Might just announce a few on here soon and figure out the online ordering part later. I'm really excited to get to work with them!
Unfortunately, what's also been occupying my mind this summer is the need for a price increase on printing, scanning, and restoration work. On paper I've seen anywhere from a 5% to 20% increase in cost since last year. Ink has gone up by about 10%. Continuing on with these prices as is would not be sustainable for me. New pricing will roll out in January 2026. π It will be a small increase--enough to help me get through this strange time. I know my regulars will understand, and I am very grateful to all of you for that.
I hope to be able to carve out more time soon to post what I've been working on! In the meantime, if you are a client who I've done work for recently please feel free to tag me and I'd be happy to share on my page or in my stories. π₯°

It's been a bit of a wild spring and summer, but I feel like things are finally settling here in the studio and in my new role as a parent! Our daughter Edie is in daycare two days a week and we are lucky to have family help with her one other day of the week. So, I finally have some autonomy to be in the studio getting some productive days! ποΈ π If you have been curious about working with me again, consider this your invitation to bring me something to do. For those who have been out of the loop, I'll include some information about studio operations below!
I am still operating by appointment only Wednesday through Saturday. However, I did just expand the hours on Wednesdays and Fridays to allow for greater flexibility! You can book an appointment through the link here: https://calendar.app.google/wxQxLkARBvFeywAT6 If you are interested in a same day appointment, please call to check in about my availability: (207) 536-0927. I don't allow same day booking online! If you have a schedule with limited availability and my appointment times do not work for you, please reach out to me. I'd be happy to figure out a way to work with you!
Turnarounds are really quite similar to where they are usually at in the summertime! Read on below for a general overview of where things are at.
π·οΈ Print orders have been 1-2 weeks (depending on volume)! The more individual prints, the more likely it will be on the side of 2 weeks for turnaround.
πΌοΈ For artwork reproductions, expect at least 2 weeks--3-4 weeks for orders with large volume (either in number of originals or number of reproductions).
πͺ Restoration projects are on a similar timeline of 2-3 weeks (volume dependent).
ποΈ Scanning orders are always their own unique animal because they are entirely volume dependent--some are as little as one week and some are as much as 2-3 months. If you are interested in discussing your project, give me a call or book a consultation!

This morning in the studio: 75 hand cut 7 x 5" giclee prints on the Hahnemuhle German Etching paper. It's always so satisfying to see the corners come together in a stack of prints like this. π«°πΌ

So lovely to have Nina Fuller ( + www.ninafullerphotography.com) stop in for a print while my daughter Edie was here! Nina showed Edie her favorite pictures in the studio and Edie was completely enthralled. π Plus a hat made from Will's wool?! What an honor for this little one! For anyone that doesn't know, Will is the sheep in the photo behind Nina (and so many of Nina's other photographs!).
Nina also picked up this print at 17 x 15.2" of her photograph 'Mary in the Box' for a buyer at the Portland Art Gallery. ππΌ
