March Against Monsanto PDX

FREE OUR SEEDS &
SAVE OUR BEES!
**OUR FOOD, OUR CHOICE**
MAM/PDX supports the citizen's GMO Right to Know, because we have an inalienable right to know what's in the food we buy and feed our families. http://www.cultivateoregon.org/dark_act_national_call
**FREE OUR SEEDS**
MAM/PDX promotes the new Open Source Seed initiative that keeps seeds – our common cultural heritage – in the public domain. Biotechnology companies are attempting to own the world's seed supply. Today, Monsanto and a handful of agricultural chemical corporations own more than 65% of commercial seeds for major crops. And Monsanto owns over 60% of global corn and soybean seed markets. **SAVE OUR BEES**
MAM/PDX advocates for our bees, monarchs and other pollinators that are threatened by the growing use of pesticides linked to GMO industrial farming that's destroying habitat. Bee and monarch populations are declining at an alarming rate, and what we do in the US effects other countries including Mexico so we have a responsibility to be good neighbors. http://www.centerforfoodsafety.org/issues/304/pollinators-and-pesticides/join-the-bee-protective-campaign
