An addition to my I wanted this one to be a bit on the darker side as that’s how I feel they would actually exist. And let’s be honest, textures and deeper colors hide a multitude of sins- like the lack of crispness I’m desiring from my casing. And can I just send out a Thank You to Nina for braving the deep for me repeatedly. It truly is a difficult thing to repeatedly twist, turn, flip, and twirl underwater.

I need to try a different housing unit for my camera. I’m not super happy with the quality yet, but I’m confident that I’ll get this dialed in once I find the perfect unit.

Doing the first test run today underwater! I’ll soon have a full underwater package to offer for you all and I’m so excited 🤩 (if all goes well, of course😬)

Sirens have real ducks as water toys, no yellow squeaky things here.
Speaking of water.... I want to try something new, so if you (or someone you know) are in the Redding area and have some free time next week, I need a couple girls to be my guinea pigs. So spread the word if you can, and send me a message if you are interested.

Partly because Brittney Taylor Beauty makes such an amazing sorceress and partly because Stephanie Franje Photography amped up the outfit with feathers and a crown. Steph’s is photo number 2 today and Marianna Chambard Photography is number three.

Dress number 2! I think this is the only dress where we all three had completely different concepts. And that’s the fun of this whole thing! I find it so interesting how each one spoke to us.

Welcome back, me! It feels like I’ve been gone from social for a lifetime. And I guess in the land of interwebs, it kind of has been. Remember back a couple months ago I was talking about a fun project with a couple other photographers from different states? We all sent each other a dress and then photographed said dress with our own concept. It was such a fun way to amp up my creativity! Thanks so much Stephanie Franje Photography (photo #2) and Marianna Chambard Photography (photo #3) for playing on this fun mary-go-round with me! I love that we all chose water with this dress- too funny. Stay tuned the rest of the weekend to see the other two dresses and what each of us chose to do with them!

Wow, we had an amazing 4th of July! There was little to no reception while we were there and while I missed posting every day, I can’t say it wasn’t a nice change of pace to focus on everything around me and ignore my phone for a few days. That doesn’t mean I wasn’t shooting... 📷
