Full-time Bilingual Office Assistant (Eng/Sp)
About us: Our fun and welcoming office is a calm, positive, supportive environment. We care about and defend our clients and promote pro-immigrant policies and thinking.
Position: Bilingual (English/Spanish) office assistant to work 40 hours per week. Position includes (but is not restricted to) the following duties: answering phones, greeting clients, and general office work including scheduling, filing and mail processing. We are looking for someone who will treat our clients with kindness and respect.
Successful candidate must:
1. Have a high school diploma or equivalent;
2. Be bilingual in English and Spanish (written and oral);
3. Demonstrate attention to detail; and
4. Be assertive and ethical.
Preference given to candidates with prior office experience, experience with MS office programs, prior experience answering phones.
Hourly wage between $16.50-$18.00 based on experience. After 60-day probationary period, benefits include health insurance, life insurance, retirement (3% match), 10 paid holidays per year, paid time off, sick time.
