What is a flower frog?

A great way to stand up blooms and preserve your stems to make them stand tall for longer.

Ranunculus are really one of the most breathtaking flowers.

I started to repaint a tiny wall in my studio, now I’m apparently repainting everything- shelves, other walls that weren’t part of the plan- maybe my table? It’s all in tiny bits around the rest of life.
It’s been a good refresh and reset.
I have some fun new pieces in the works once I run out of paint🙃

Every once in a while I keep one for myself, this moody one’s how this time of year feels to me.

I am saddened and strengthened by all the people of Minneapolis who are organizing and continuing to wake up and unite.

This time of year, my son and I make Valentines- little ceramic heart dishes he glazes to give out with some candy. I made extra this year for a workshop.
With current events, I have been struggling with promoting it or promoting any art I’ve made or like.

In times like these, I look to art for help—another way to express and process feelings and grief. I know art is important for us all, and the workshop I’m doing is open to all to hopefully work through some of the challenges we’re facing or just be present and doing something that feels good. If price is a barrier, please email me. This is open to all!

Cleansing and new beginnings going into the new year.

Working on a few brushes tonight, these are all high fire porcelain with sustainably harvested plant fibers.

The fibers are naturally water resistant and ideal for sweeping up dust and dirt.

Porcelain is extremely strong and resistant to impact making it durable for every day use of these brush handles.

All of my ceramics are stress tested (whether I like it or not) by my curious 6 year old. These brushes are meant to be used but also to display the quality of their materials and make.

Here’s a look at what I’ve finally gotten out of my head. I’ll have a small collection of these in my showroom as well as up on my site soon.
