You can learn a lot about an organization from how it handles goodbyes.

The resignation that changed team dynamics.

The reorganization employees are still processing.

The leadership transition everyone is watching.

These moments shape employee experience, culture, organizational trust, and how people experience change at work.

As organizations continue navigating workforce movement, restructures, changing expectations, and uncertainty, this conversation matters.

Join us for PHRMA’s next HR in 90 session:

The Art of Saying Goodbye: Why Offboarding Is a Workforce Strategy, Not an Afterthought

Together, we’ll explore how organizations can approach departures more intentionally — and how thoughtful offboarding can support culture, reinforce values, and strengthen organizations through change.

And because some of the most valuable HR learning happens through real conversation, you’ll connect with HR professionals from organizations across Portland navigating many of the same realities.

Hear how others are approaching difficult departures, employee experience, and transition conversations in their own organizations.

Step away from your inbox for 90 minutes for lunch, conversation, fresh perspective, and a discussion worth being in the room for.

If this challenge touches your work — or conversations you know are coming — we hope you’ll join us.

Someone leaves your organization.

What do your remaining employees learn from how you say goodbye?

A resignation. A layoff. A leadership transition.

How you handle departures doesn’t just affect the employee leaving. It influences morale, trust, culture, reputation, leadership credibility, and how employees experience your organization.

Yet offboarding is often treated as paperwork and process.

As organizations continue navigating workforce change, restructures, evolving employee expectations, and talent movement, this is a conversation that matters.

Join us for PHRMA’s next HR in 90 session:

The Art of Saying Goodbye: Why Offboarding Is a Workforce Strategy, Not an Afterthought

Together, we’ll explore how thoughtful departures can protect culture, reinforce values, strengthen employer brand, and support business continuity.

And because some of the best HR learning happens through real conversation, you’ll also have the opportunity to compare notes with peers navigating many of the same challenges you are.

Leave with practical ideas, fresh perspective, and approaches you can bring back to your organization.

Lunch, meaningful conversation, and learning — without committing your entire afternoon.

If this is a challenge your organization is navigating — or one you know may be ahead — you’ll want to be part of this conversation.
