We Make Zines
We Make Zines is an online community for zine makers and readers.
Although there are many social networking sites out there, there is little that focuses on zines. We all have our facebooks or blogs, but those accounts are filled with friends from work, from the third grade, people who don't know what a zine is and some who probably don't care. You can create a profile, list your zineography, post images of zines, partake in the forums, find other zine writers,
Not only was the PZS amazing, the Destination DIY party was great (homemade space suit! For real!!!) and the weekend was generally stuffed to the gills with crafty, geeky events.
Been a super good few days. Here's hoping that many of the people introduced to zine culture here this weekend dive in and become creators and that we all get home, get some sleep, and can make even better and even more satisfying stuff from here on out.

This article, while meant to be just about one project, looks to me to be a pretty good snapshot of a lot of the zine community. http://thelinknewspaper.ca/article/3325
Home Is Where the Zine Is | Fringe Arts | The Link Zines are personal. They are birthed from photocopies and glue sticks, from small scenes and big ideas. Zine-makers infuse their personalities into the pages.
Hi, folks. This is Rustin H. Wright, the guy who created this page. I have no connection whatsoever to We Make Zines. I'm just one more indie publishing guy and I figured *somebody* should make a page for it so here it is. If any of you who actually help run WMZ want to take this over, please feel free and I'll gladly hand over admin control.
