Anniversary Milestone: We want to congratulate Jeff Millis on his 28-year anniversary milestone at Gores Construction. Jeff has played a huge role in the growth of our company. As VP of Operations, his leadership, experience, and steady approach help guide both our team and our projects every day. Jeff has a deep understanding of the construction industry and a strong commitment to doing things the right way. He’s someone many of us look to for guidance, making a lasting impact not just on our projects, but on the people he works with.

Project Introduction: Orchard Glen Condominiums is a 106-unit, 54-building community built in 2005, located in Beaverton, Oregon. Gores Construction will begin replacing all roofs, including gutters and downspouts. We will be performing a complete replacement of siding and trim with James Hardie Fiber Cement products. Replacing all windows, sliding glass doors, swing doors, and finishing off with paint.

Our team is looking forward to working alongside PONO BUILDING CONSULTANTS LLC and Superior Community Management to get this project underway.

Project Update: We are making great progress at Scholls Creek Condominiums in Beaverton, Oregon. The scope of work includes extensive siding and window replacements, gypsum sheathing repairs, and concludes with a full exterior repaint throughout the community. With an anticipated substantial completion date of March 2026, we are starting to see some end results as buildings are being completed and painted!

We’re continuing our work alongside and on another successful project.

His architectural expertise and vision have helped evolve how we approach design-build collaborations and deliver lasting results.

Last night, Gores Construction had a great time connecting with industry peers at CAI’s Annual Meeting & Gala. Thank you to for bringing everyone together for such a fun event and congratulations Lorie Jaraba on your award!

Our office team carved out some time yesterday for some pumpkin fun and to get into the spirit. Between the laughs and creativity, it was a real treat to see everyone’s festive side 🎃

Project Update: Work is underway at Cedars at Timberland, an 11-building community in Portland, OR. Our team is currently replacing deck coatings on 15 decks across 3 buildings, while also completing fire suppression upgrades and interior repairs to enhance safety and functionality for residents.

We’re proud to be working alongside and to continue moving this project forward successfully.

Anniversary Milestone: We’re thrilled to celebrate Tom Walker, our Warehouse Manager, on reaching 10 years with Gores Construction. Tom joined in 2015 and worked his way up to his current role. Over the years, he’s proven to be a dependable leader who is organized, resourceful, and always willing to lend a hand wherever it’s needed. We sincerely thank Tom for his years of hard work and contribution to Gores Construction.

Project Introduction: Built in 1981, Village at Wilsonville is a 78-unit, 13-building community located in Wilsonville, Oregon. Gores Construction will begin replacing siding and trim, installing new vinyl windows and sliding glass doors, painting all new siding and trim, and rebuilding wood decks with composite decking and aluminum railings for the first phase of repairs on two of the 13 buildings.
