YCUP PDX
Young Credit Union Professionals (YCUP PDX) encourages and empowers the voices of young professionals within the credit union movement.
YCUP was founded by young credit union professionals way back in 2008 at the Credit Union Association of Oregon's (now Northwest Credit Union Association) Annual Meeting. This passionate and dedicated crew believes that the credit union movement is deserving of youthful innovation and impact. We are the future, and the future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Congratulations to this year's YCUP PDX Empowerment Scholarship recipient, Esbeidy Castillo Rodriguez of Sunset Credit Union! đ
By receiving this year's scholarship, Esbeidy plans to attend Western Credit Union Management School:
"I am so excited and grateful to accept the 2026 YCUP Empowerment Scholarship. I plan on using the funds toward my tuition at Western Credit Union Management School. This will not only fund a young professional's continued education and success, but also the success of a small credit union and a Latina. Thank you!"
Western Credit Union Management School's immersive curriculum blends academic rigor with real-world application. Graduates return as strategic, confident leaders ready to innovate, solve challenges & drive results.
Congratulations again to Esbeidy, and thank you to everyone who applied for this year's YCUP PDX Empowerment scholarshipâwe hope to hear from you again next year! đ
