Letβs talk vendor apps + our dreamy partners π
Creative vendors, this oneβs for you! Are you an artist or maker looking for a marketplace to grow your audience and connect with community? Come be a part of Arts Alive!, the summer arts festival in East Portland where local talent and family fun are front and center! If youβre looking to fill your calendar with fun, community-driven, unique markets then we might just be your people π«Άπ»
At Free Arts NW, weβre all about creating intentional spaces that feel good for you and for the folks showing up to shop. Think family friendly vibes, thoughtful curation, and events that actually bring people together (not just foot traffic for the sake of it).
We partner with some pretty incredible spaces + small creative businesses to make it all happen. Which means every year Arts Alive feels a little different, a little special, and a lot like community π
If youβre a maker, curator, community group, or creative human wanting to get your work out there, weβd love to have you.
Link to apply is in our bio!

Spring Break Placemaking Camp at Free Arts NW β what a week.
We wrapped camp yesterday with a small but mighty group of 4thβ5th graders. While a handful of officially enrolled youth participated, the space grew organically throughout the week. Teens, collaborators, and visiting neighborhood kids joined in, expanding the circle and bringing so much energy into the space.
Thatβs the magic of creative community spaces. Big thank you to free tool library for all the help.
Together, we built new free library structures, now standing at Arte Soleil. There are plans to bring them to life through paint and plants in the coming weeks. Let us know if you want to help!
We extend the invitation to share books or art supplies and connect with one another.
Thank you to everyone who showed up, built alongside us, and made space for creativity to grow. π

The Community Voices series began last weekend with guiding youth and teens through the camera lens and into the world of things we don't normally stop to notice. Participants took home their own cameras to continue documenting their community. Can't wait to see what develops *this* weekend!
--> Spots still available for the April workshop series and Spring Break Placemaking camp πΈπͺ΄π§°
