BREAKING NEWS: We are thrilled to announce the launch of Arcade Roll, our first Apple Vision Pro video game and one of the first spatial computing arcade experiences ever built for the platform!
Arcade Roll is the first game Augmented Island Studios has ever conceived, designed, and built entirely in-house for VisionOS, and getting here was no small feat.
Our team dove into RealityKit, SwiftUI, and spatial audio, rebuilt assumptions about how users interact with virtual objects in physical space, and went through more iterations of game mechanics, 3D world design, and character rigging than we can count.
We are genuinely proud of of this launch. Three fully realized 3D worlds (and more coming!). Characters with personality. Gameplay that feels at home in your living room, your office, or wherever you decide to play.
From concept to code, everything was built by our team. The whole AIS crew pushed the limits to make this great!

We are a creative technology studio. We design, build, and launch experiences that are immersive, purposeful, and built to last — from interactive 3D worlds and spatial computing to web applications, configurators, and photorealistic rendering for some of the world’s most recognized brands.

Six months of work. One very big week!
We are proud to have built the new digital home for Robinson Helicopter and Robinson Unmanned, their newly established UAS division announced at Verticon. The site includes a fully redesigned digital experience across both brands, photorealistic 3D renders of the full aircraft and drone portfolio, and a helicopter configurator we built from scratch.
This project was a masterclass in vision-driven leadership. Robinson’s CEO David Smith has been remarkably clear-eyed about where aviation is headed, and that clarity made every decision easier to align around. Robyn Eagles, Vice President of Global Marketing and Communications, brought exactly the right creative and strategic instincts to shepherd a project of this complexity across the finish line. Working alongside both of them was incredibly inspiring.
Behind the scenes, this meant coordinating with product designers, marketing professionals, external agencies, and more!

We had a wonderful time today guest lecturing in Professor Gal Zauberman’s MBA class at the Yale School of Management. We discussed the role of spatial computing in shaping learning and experiences. Gal’s approach to teaching is impressive, and we always walk away from his lectures having learned something new. The student interaction was fascinating and highly engaging, with insightful questions and thoughtful discussions that enriched the session.
