Naturopaths Without Borders- NCNM Chapter
NWB-NCNM began in September 2011. The chapter functions as a global health resource to students and doctors in and around NCNM.
The chapter was founded by Stephanie Culver and Kelly Philiba after witnessing a gap at NCNM in global health education and experiences available to students and doctors alike. Monthly general meetings focus on international trips, global health education, local project coordination, and fundraising. Chapter officers meet bi-monthly to facilitate smooth implementation of NWB-NCNM chapter ideas and

The ncnm volunteers are rocking it!
Naturopaths Without Borders: SCNM and Naturopaths Without Borders- NCNM Chapter students make a great team! This week they are enduring the rain and working hard to expand our work with Naturopathic care and education west of Cap-Haïtien, Haiti!
The mixed weeks allow students to learn from each other's strengths, as each Naturopathic medical school's stylistic differences shine through its students. By teaching NWB staff and learning about Haitian culture through our translators, we all become stronger, more well-rounded global citizens!
hey ncnmers. i have a little announcement from haiti!

Help support students traveling to Haiti with Naturopaths Without Borders- NCNM Chapter! We are sending four students - Josh Corn, Brook Ahnemann, Kate Hampilos, and Ian Ian Michael Spohn - to work in mobile health clinics at the end of March.
Make dinner a selfless act by joining our benefit for NWB.
It's super easy! Just come into the Portland State Chipotle on SW Broadway and College on Wednesday, March 18, 4:00pm to 8:00pm, bring in a flyer, show them this event invitation, or mention NWB and we will get 50% of the proceeds from your meal!
HUGE thank you to Chipotle for working with us!
Questions about NWB? Contact Josh Corn or Dr. Desha Wood.

Help name the puppy, and come visit her over spring break!
*** Puppy names needed! ***
We have rescued a puppy! Found nearly dead in the street 2 weeks ago, she is now happy and healthy thanks to medicine, food, baths and lots of love. She is a natural guard, barking at various chickens and things she hears in the yard at night with those big ears.
Now, we need ideas for names! Let's hear them!

Last week the CCNM group tried out this clinic site in balimbe. We had a great day and saw some really interesting cases. We lucked out by having a warm and slightly overcast day ;) Come to Haiti!

Get your American Airlines flights Miami - cap haitien booked.
Get your bags packed. (throw in some chocolate for me)
I am really excited to give my NCNMers the alumni biased treatment with an incredible week. ;) shhhhh don't tell the others
The only way to reserve your spot for spring break in haiti with Dr's Sean and Desha, is to fill out the application on the nwb website!
There are limited spots avail, it is not an exclusive ncnm volunteer week, other schools have break then too! So what are you waiting for?!
Are you going to Haiti this December on one, or both, of the volunteer brigades?!
