Mixed scales and patterns establish a microcosm of the desert within the walls of this hotel – without the sand or the heat. Pops of color amid neutral, sandy tones reference Saguaro cactus blossoms, emblematic of the lush, flourishing oasis that the hotel establishes, as well as the historic local citrus farming industry.

Rooted in Allentown’s storied past and layered with bold, contemporary design, Moxy Allentown sparks curiosity and invites connection among guests through literal interpretations.

It’s a property that is both grounded in place and wildly expressive – a true reflection of Moxy’s rebellious personality.

Welcome second Cyclone!

Get to know Lauren Brown, AKA The Keeper of Trinkets and Tales.

Recent college graduate Lauren Brown brings a fresh new perspective to The Society. She’s quick to adapt and eager to learn. With a desire to merge history and culture to create immersive hospitality projects with compelling stories, Lauren’s creative perspective grounds her designs in the context of a location, embodying the character of the surrounding environment.

Filled with a passion for design that she received from her mother – who would take her to different house showings at a young age and discuss the interior design with her – Lauren’s favorite thing about interior design is the ability to transform how people experience space.

As The Keeper of Trinkets and Tales, she holds an extensive collection of souvenirs and travel memories that she can’t wait to share as the design inspiration for her next project.
