Happy National Surgical Technologists Week to our wonderful scrub tech Laura!
A surgical technologist, or scrub tech, is a key role in running an operating room and performing surgery at a high level.
When a surgeon and a scrub tech have been working together for a while, they develop a professional relationship akin to dance partners, as the tech is able to anticipate steps before the surgeon does them.
Having an excellent scrub tech makes the surgery go smoother and faster, which means our patients get better results.
Thanks to our amazing Portland Face Doctor scrub tech Laura!

December is Safe Toys and Gifts Month, dedicated to promoting awareness about choosing age-appropriate, safe toys and gifts during the holiday season. It encourages parents, caregivers, and gift-givers to prioritize safety by checking for choking hazards, sharp edges, and toxic materials in toys. For children, it’s essential to ensure toys are suitable for their developmental stage, and for older individuals, gift options like protective eyewear or ergonomic tools are highlighted. This initiative helps reduce preventable injuries and ensures a joyful, hazard-free holiday season. 🎁
