Last week, we had the honor of participating in the wall breaking ceremony for the Building 7 Renovation, alongside our partners at Chemeketa Community College, Facet Architects, FFA Architects, and DPM Co., marking an exciting step forward for this 65,000 sf facility serving health, fitness, and wellness programs. Here’s to new beginnings and the continued impact this revitalized building will bring!

As Construction Safety Week comes to a close, we are reminded that safety is a commitment that continues long after this week ends. Every safe decision, every pre-task plan, and every team member looking out for one another helps ensure everyone goes home safe each day. Shoutout to Jake Woodley and team for overcoming the challenges faced on this historic renovation project. The team has done a fantastic job pre-planning and ensuring everyone goes home safe each day!

Day 3 of Construction Safety Week highlights the importance of quality work, accountability, and looking out for one another on every project. Strong QA/QC practices and a safety-first mindset help create safer and more successful jobsites for everyone involved. Shoutout to Donny Higgins, Hanna Gioia, and Richard Bruhn for the hard work on our PT slab QA/QC and safety!

Day 2 of Construction Safety Week is a reminder that safety starts with preparation and the right protections in place. Focusing on proper planning and PPE helps reduce risks and keeps both workers and the public safe on every jobsite.

Shoutout to Eric Ambriz and team for an outstanding job pre-planning this task, wearing proper PPE, and protecting workers and the public from Silica exposure!

With construction dating back to 1927, the Mt. Scott Community Center in Southeast Portland was decades overdue for an upgrade. In partnership with FFA Architecture and Interiors, Inc. and the City of Portland, Bremik recently completed the renovation of the historic community center, which included seismic upgrades, improved ADA accessibility, and expanded facility offerings to better serve the community.
