Congratulations to all of our awesome Jog-a-thon participants. They ran their hearts out and helped raise money for our school. And a big shout out to our committee chair Nicole Barger and the rest of the committee for making it possible!

Our week at a glance.
Tuesday, October 7th:
-PTA general meeting from 6:30-7:30 in the Lewis Library or on-line. Childcare is available and free in the cafeteria. We hope to see you there!

Wednesday, October 8th:
-The first Walk and Roll event of the school year!
-From the Capital to our Classrooms Zoom event hosted by the OPTA at 7pm. Please use this link to register for this important event (thank you Ms. Lisa for keeping it on the PTA’s radar)!

Thursday, October 9th:
-The Jog-a-thon is HERE! Thank you in advance for helping to support this important Lewis PTA fundraiser! Sign up here to volunteer or show up on the field to help cheer on Lewis students! Meet sweet tooth the candy collection monster. Feed them your candy and small prize donations for trunk or treat. They’ll be located outside the school at pick up and drop off.

Thanks everyone who came out to the PTA parent coffee get together!

Today Wednesday, August 27 from 5:30-6:30 pm there will be an important walk-through to discuss paving along Glenwood to help make it safer for students walking to school. If you are able to attend, it would be great to get some parent voices! Please share the link below with other folks in the neighborhood, too.

The weather was hot, but the parents, students and teachers who came to spruce up Lewis were on FIRE! Thank you for helping Lewis look its best before school starts! A huge thank you to Ace Hardware on Woodstock for donating 60 yard debris bags (volunteers filled over 30)!

Thank you to everyone who came and helped clean out the PTA closet! A special shoutout to Nicole Koffler, Lewis Parent and organizing genius for donating her time and expertise! Nicole owns the business and is available to help organize spaces large and small!

Community Cleanup Day! Come help get the grounds of Lewis spruced up before school starts! Light refreshments will be available. Bring your gardening tools (gloves, clippers, hedge trimmers, trowels, w**d whacker, shovels, etc). Kids welcome with their grown-ups!

The PTA closet clean out is under way. We could still use volunteers for Monday to help clean & organize.
