Last week, the Systems Engineering team had the privilege of volunteering at the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Manchester, NH as part of Granite United Way's Annual Day of Caring.

Despite a little rain, our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work landscaping the grounds for an organization that makes such a meaningful difference in the lives of young people in the community. 🌱 They each shared with us what participating in the Annual Day of Caring means to them.

A big thank you to Granite United Way for organizing this amazing event, the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Manchester for having us, Members First Credit Union for joining us on this project, and to our team for showing up and giving back to the community we live and work in. We're already looking forward to next year!

Cybersecurity Oversight Moves from the Back Office to the Boardroom 05/13/2026

Is your credit union's board truly ready for today's cyber threats? Member trust depends on it.

Cybersecurity is no longer just an IT issue – it's a boardroom responsibility. The credit unions winning the trust game are the ones treating cyber resilience as a strategic advantage, not an afterthought.

Here's where to start:
✔️ Make cybersecurity a governance priority
✔️ Allocate resources with strategy, not guesswork
✔️ Align audit prep with your cyber roadmap
✔️ Build a culture where every employee is cyber-aware
✔️ Turn compliance into a competitive strength

Assessment readiness is built through repetition, not last-minute scrambling.
Mock assessments, evidence reviews, and continuous monitoring are what make assessment day predictable. If you’re not practicing readiness now, you may be behind when enforcement increases next year.

Switching MSPs isn’t inherently disruptive, but unstructured transitions can be.

The difference comes down to process. Ask questions like:
- Who owns onboarding?
- How are risks tracked?
- How are tool changes coordinated?
- How is your internal team supported?

If those answers are vague, the transition will be too. If you’re evaluating a change, focus less on promises and more on the structure behind them.
