This month's topic is "Adherence" presented by Jeffrey McWilliams, MD Medical Director - Oregon Operations KEPRO. Dr. McWilliams completed medical school and training at OHSU. He is an Internist, Hematologist, Medical Oncologist and a Palliative Medicine specialist who is now in helping improve the health of nearly 100,000 Oregonians. Dr. McWilliams is also a longtime advocate for evidence based medicine along with being a former genetic epidemiology researcher.

This month's topic is "Inspiration Matters" 1.25 CE Credits approved by CCMC. Our presenters will be Amy Burns, Health System Business Specialist . and Susan Sundberg, District Manager. Amy and Susan will discuss what Peak Inspiratory flow is, or PIF, and how PIF is measured via the in-check dial.They will discuss the correlation of patients with sub-optimal PIF and hospital readmissions for COPD exacerbations.You will also get instruction on the PIF required to properly activate various inhalers.
