We have important news to share! After years of hard work, Miriam has been accepted into a residency program!! We were planning to move at the end of the summer, but things have fast tracked and we will be moving in May. Unfortunately that means we will be moving out of state for a few years. The Cart will be on pause while we make arrangements to move.

We want to say thank you to everyone who helped our dreams come true. Thank you to all of our friends, new and old. We are grateful for the love and experiences we were fortunate to share with everyone, and most importantly we are grateful for the opportunity to have been able to feed everyone our delicious food 💜

Special shout out to .pdx for being awesome neighbors. Thank you to the Abernathy/Hosford neighborhood and Ladd’s Addition for welcoming us. Big thank you to for giving us opportunities to grow and always being so helpful.

We have an important announcement to share with everyone:

Unfortunately, over the last two years, our food cart pod location has not provided the inclusion and community that we were told existed when we moved in.
It has been increasingly impossible to gain visibility at an invisible location,and it has become painstakingly obvious that no changes are going to be made.
We will be looking for a new location that aligns with our needs and values.
We wish our neighbors .pdx the best in their future endeavors.
Any leads or information on pod openings is greatly appreciated.

This week we will be closed in order to prep for a special event on Saturday. We will reopen on Tuesday, March 5th. Thank you everyone for your love and patience.

We have a new rice substitution we are trying out: Vermicelli Rice Noodles! They go great with any bowl but we highly recommend trying the oxtail or pozole, the richness of the broth really holds up well with the noodles. Come see for yourself and let us know what you think 💜
