This is very true.

I just had a wonderful listening session, my second one this week. People always want to know why I do this, if I don't charge for it. It's because listening to someone who is being honest and vulnerable is always a non-zero sum game. If you've seen the movie "Arrival" you probably know what I'm talking about. The point is, it's not a quid-pro-quo situation. Both parties come away with more than they went in with.
