Portland, you beautiful disaster. Thank you for screaming with us, crying with us, blacking out with us, and clawing through every single unhinged night. Paper Tiger is dead, but the chaos is immortal.

Paper Tiger isn’t just cocktails and noodles (though we’ll happily crush both on any given night). It’s late-night laughs at the bar, chaos in the kitchen, stories swapped over slushies, and the kind of people who make you feel at home the second you walk in. The kind of people who won’t leave the pregnant lady out of the round of shots.

They share their knowledge, their stories, their craft, and they do it without ego or judgement.

Huge thank you to the team for only being a little annoyed when we shoved cameras in your faces. Being willing to put on the smelly tiger heads without complaints. And allowing us to be creative and weird with you. Feeling extra lucky to have worked with such a kind group of humans.

It is with a heavy heart and a real sense of accomplishment that we share this news:
After three years of unhinged bar fun, Paper Tiger will be closing its doors on September 1st.

That gives you two more weeks to soak it all in before we’re gone forever.

We wrote an incredibly heartfelt (and way too long) essay about this moment… and then deleted the whole thing. Instead, we’ll leave you with this:

Senioritis doesn’t mean phoning it in; it means going out exactly how you want, loud, weird, and unapologetic.

So come get weird with us one last time. We love you. We’ll always love you. And we’ll miss you more than words can say.
