🌾Piling on the hay
💧Rinsing & refilling their water bowl often
🪮Gently removing loose fur as needed
💩Keeping a close eye on their appetite and poops

Make it fun: Mix in a different kind of hay to encourage hay munching and help support normal gut motility 🌱

Bonded bunny tip: Even if a rabbit isn’t shedding, if they’re grooming an extra fluffy friend they could be ingesting just as much fur as the one that is molting 🐇

Isn’t Pennie the cutest little lionhead? A natural model. Watching her explore this tunnel absolutely made our day 🥰

Pennie is a friendly and curious bun that was surrendered to a local rescue earlier this year with her sister. Shortly after they arrived at the rescue, their hormones kicked in and they had had to be separated after they started fighting.

Pennie is currently in a foster-to-adopt bonding trial with another cutie from the rescue. Interestingly enough, her husbun-to-be, Eddie, was originally paired with his brother, until they started fighting shortly after being neutered.

We’re cheering Pennie and Eddie on and wishing them the happiest new beginning together 💕
