Wow, we just hit 1,000 followers in Instagram! 🎉 With so many new friends joining us lately, I thought it’s the perfect time to say hi and reintroduce myself — I’m María! 💕

I’m a mom of two amazing kids, married to my wonderful husband, and I’m the recipe creator behind Simple Veganizer!

Cooking is my art, and I love sharing plant-based meals that are healthy, doable, and full of flavor — no perfection required.

A bit about me:

🌿 Born in Córdoba, Argentina | Living in Portland, OR since 2013.
🌿 I’m in my late 40s (close to 50).
🌿 English is my second language, Spanish is my first.
🌿 I am a Software Engineer and self-taught photographer, videographer & blogger.
🌿 Love hiking in my beautiful Oregon.
🌿 Plant-based since 2016 — for health + love for God's creation.
🌿 Certified in Plant-Based Cooking (Forks Over Knives & Rouxbe)
🌿 My family isn’t 100% plant-based, but they try everything! 😄
🌿 All my recipes are 100% plant-based, often oil- & refined sugar-free. with plenty of nut-free and gluten-free options too!
🌿 When traveling or eating out, I sometimes choose vegetarian meals or Vegan Junk food— because balance matters for me and my mental health, and my goal is not being perfect. When I'm back home, I continue cooking only plant-based 💚.
