Event Tomorrow: "How Not to Die"! Mushroom Foraging Workshop Searching for a specific mushroom? Whether it is a morel, lobster, or something more funky, this is the workshop for you. Join naturalist and author, Rebecca Lexa, for a unique workshop on mushroom foraging.

This workshop is to die for! Just kidding, that’s kind of antithetical to its purpose, sorry .

On Friday, May 29th, we are hosting a workshop on mushroom foraging, taught by Oregon Naturalist and author, Rebecca Lexa.

Experiment PDX & Summer Fun! Come in, be curious! May 2026

We are happy to announce that we have partnered with the Portland Pickles this season! As a celebration of the family fun sport and our family museum, we are giving out FREE PICKLES TICKETS!

Join us for any class or for museum admission, and get one entry per ticket into our raffle. We will choose a new winner EVERY WEEK to win 2 tickets to a game of their choosing.

Our science show is this weekend; use this chance to enter our raffle. Winners announced every Friday.

This Saturday is another LEGO robotics class, but there is a twist… RENEGADE BUILDS! Each week, we will try out a new build, not listed in our usual curriculum. Get ready for a creative afternoon, with animal, vehicle, and/or tool building.

1-3 PM. Grades 1-5, students can be dropped off.

Every other Sunday is a new, hands-on science lesson for your preschoolers! Each class gives your students a chance to explore a new STEM topic in an accessible format. Our next class is May 24th, with a focus on polymers.
