Rooted deeply in the shores of Phuket, Chef Somsri “Ana” Raksamran carries the enduring taste of childhood, having learned the language of food from a mother and grandmother whose lives were
entirely devoted to cooking and running a food business. Growing up immersed in this rich culinary lineage, she absorbed the genuine, comforting flavors of home long before she ever stepped into a
professional kitchen.
Crossing oceans to Mexico City, she weaves that intimate family heritage into the cultural fabric of Roma Norte. As a culinary visionary, she brings the rich, layered complexities of southern Thai
gastronomy to life, seamlessly bridging her earliest memories with a forward-thinking, contemporary view vision that evolves with the times. Recognizing a profound kinship between Mexican and Thai
traditions—a shared reverence for fresh herbs, bold spices, and the sacred ritual of communal dining—she honors the integrity of her roots while innovating for the modern palate.

Nowadays, Chef Ana stands as a pioneering force in Thai gastronomy in Mexico, transforming her culinary concepts into dynamic spaces of modern Thai art. Through meticulous execution—from
hand-pounded curry pastes carrying the signature depth of the south to a progressive approach to
modern dining—she continually redefines the boundaries of international cuisine, proving that true heritage is never static, but a living, breathing evolution of the flavors that raised her.
