She and her family are moving back home to Puerto Rico next month. We are incredibly sad to “lose” her, but we are happy she gets to go back where her heart truly is.

Over the years, Karina has been more than just an amazing pharmacy technician. She has been a shoulder to cry on for many of us, including customers, a cheerleader to all of us during the good times, and a ton of fun to work beside all the time. To us, she has become more than a friend. She is our family, and we will miss her dearly.

Congratulations to our very own Christina Stephens, this month’s Step One Local Hero! Christy turned her own life’s tragedy into philanthropy for which she works tirelessly. She brings su***de prevention awareness to the community, helps families who are going through similar losses, and is ALWAYS there to talk anyone through a difficult situation when he or she feels hopeless.
