Changing your mindset about life can seem like a depressing task.
Everyone has advice…some of it…just be happy.
But what if it’s not you who you should focus on? It is written in the Gospel to do all things for Him.
“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters,”
Colossians 3:23 NIV
He has already promised us an abundance. We just need to obedient and live our lives for Him.

Some things do not need to be explained.
You carry them in the way you lead your home.
In the way you raise your children.
In the way you stand when the world tells you to sit down.
In the way you keep your faith when life gets heavy.
**God. Family. Country.**
Not because we are perfect.
Not because life has been easy.
But because we know what holds us together when everything else starts falling apart.
God above all.

A country worth being grateful for.

This is why Disciple exists.
Not for another shirt.
Not for another membership.
Not for another thing to add to someone’s already busy life.
Disciple exists because sometimes God uses simple things to meet people in heavy seasons.
One of our Disciple members shared this after receiving their shirt:
“Having a hard season in life… Want to say thank y’all for what you have put together here.
The tee arrived today, I opened the package and cried right there in my doorway… The scripture was spot on and the image hit me like a ton of bricks.
We all have our demons… We must confess them to God… He knows, we just need to have faith and take a step.”
That last line is the whole mission.
Have faith.

Every month inside Disciple, we focus on one theme, one challenge, one shirt, and one mission: to stop being passive in our walk with Christ and start living like disciples.
Not perfect men.
Not men who have it all together.
Just men willing to take the next step with God.

We are called as Christians to go out and minister as often as possible.
So we can pray, and do our best not to sin, and be generous and tithe…but if we aren’t going out and helping win hearts for the Lord, we aren’t completing His mission for us.
The Disciple program focuses on one area per month to push you past discomfort and embarrassment. It’s all on you to challenge your limits and grow. Well…you and God of course.

The world can be a scary place.
Our first instinct is to run, fear, and doubt.
But we have instructions otherwise.
Getting fired, starting a Christian apparel brand, learning organic marketing…all has been scary.
I have to keep focused on him…otherwise I would have quit.
