DragonVault

Integrity is one of the eternal dragons. She orbits the moon, protecting it and helping to send light reflecting back towards Earth with her magic. Every 50 years or so Integrity does one last orbit around the moon before going into hibernation. While she sleeps, the old moon crumbles to space dust and her body is encased in a new shell that becomes the new moon. When she awakens, she does not hatch out of the moon but simply uses her magic to teleport out. This starts the cycle over again!

(Integrity was inspired by the enhanced photos of the moon from the Artemis mission, and her story is inspired by an episode of Doctor Who!)

🧚‍♀️ This piece was sculpted by hand using polymer clay. Integrity and the moon are both removable and can be displayed in various ways on the base. The base has a faux pearl to represent the moon, and two glass crystals to represent the rest of the cycle. The base and the moon both glow in the dark.

🧚‍♀️ The entire piece is approximately 3 inches wide, and approximately 3 inches tall when displayed together. I have added a few photos with my hand to show size comparison.

Esora the Fairy Dragon enjoys gardens more than anything else. She loves the colors of the flowers, the variety of the plants, and the natural magic that they hold within them. One day she found a tiny garden that was just her size, so she decided to keep it a secret. She marked the location of the garden with a fairy circle, and hid the garden with stone walls inside a plant pot. Esora will share her secret garden with you if you bring her a petal from your favorite flower!

🧚‍♀️ This piece was sculpted by hand using polymer clay. The garden was sculpted directly onto and inside of a terracotta plant pot, and the dragon was sculpted onto a wooden toothpick. The toothpick has been sealed with varnish where it is exposed. The mushroom fairy circle and the dragon on the leaves are both removable and can be displayed in various ways.

This tiny little lady will be part of my secret garden piece for Eclectic Market. She has a little rose on her back, and leaves down her spine. This is a close up so it looks bigger than it is, but she is actually less than an inch long!

Some green clay for St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Pi (pie) day! The last pie I made was back in November, so of course it was a Pumpkin Pie 🥧 Did you do anything Pi related today?

Nyan Cat Bookmark

Nyan Cat was one of the first memes that I had ever seen. I loved the colorful ridiculousness! I have done my own interpretation of Nyan Cat here, and made it into a bookmark!

🧚‍♀️ This pixelated cutie was cut entirely by hand, and the whole bookmark has been handmade with flexible polymer clay. The parts are layered so that the piece is somewhat 3D. Nyan Cat's face and the stars were hand painted with acrylic paint pre-cure so that it adheres to the clay nicely.

🧚‍♀️ The bookmark is approximately 4.5 inches long and 1.5 inches wide, and it is finished with a white tassel that is approximately 5 inches long. I have added a video that shows the flexibility.

Kirin are mythological beasts that blend horse and dragon features, and are considered symbols of good luck and wisdom. Ryunin was born from the ashes of a forest fire. He is the first sign of new life, and he burns with the energy of change. Being born of fire grants Ryunin the power of luck, transformation, and power. This symbolizes how we sometimes have to make our own luck with changes that we manifest in ourselves.

Ryunin and his base have both been sculpted by hand using polymer clay. They have been colored with pan pastels and acrylic paint. The base was sculpted onto a wooden disc.

This piece measures about 4 inches in diameter. Ryunin is about 4 inches long alone, and about 2.5 inches tall. There are pictures of all the pieces in my hand for size reference.

Some more progress! The creature now has back legs, and I've started on the base. It will be a charred ground with burnt logs and newly sprouted burn morels!

The first work in progress pics for my Eclectic Market piece this month! I am going for a more realistic body, which is new and challenging. It will be a horse / dragon hybrid with fire details!
