We are also celebrating Read Across America this week with dress up days, a fun story-walk outdoors, and lots of reading!

Yesterday, I walked past two kids standing in front of a Little Free Library.
“Hmmm, let’s see,” said the older one. “This one is good. And so is this one.”
He handed the younger kid two books.
“Yeah,” said the younger one. “But I can’t read them.”
“Duh, I know,” said the older one. “That’s why I’m going to read them to you.”

Oh, my heart--it lifted up in my chest when I heard this exchange.
Suddenly, everything seemed brighter, more possible.

Open House has been rescheduled to Thursday! Extended book fair hours Thursday from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
