From design to reality.
A strong foundation begins with thoughtful engineering. Before concrete is placed, every detail matters: foundation layout, reinforcing steel, load transfer, site coordination, and quality control.
During a concrete pour, the mix is carefully placed and consolidated to help eliminate air pockets and ensure proper bonding around the reinforcing steel. This process is essential to achieving the strength, durability, and long-term performance the structure was designed for.

That’s why mentoring Peyton Ross for his Eagle Scout Service Project has been such a rewarding experience for our team. Peyton came to us with a dream for the Harbor Hangout and a mission to provide a dedicated space for kids in the community.
We stepped in to help him navigate the technical side of design, drafting, and preparing plans for permits. Seeing his dedication from the initial sketch to the final printed plans reminds us exactly why we love what we do.

🎉 Celebrating 5 Years with Kyle!
Five years ago, Kyle joined the NOHMIS team eager to learn and grow, and grow he did.
Over the past five years, Kyle has earned his Building Inspector's license, developed an extensive knowledge of seawall construction and deterioration, mastered structural inspections, stepped into MEP design, and taken on team management responsibilities.
What sets Kyle apart isn't just the skills he's built — it's the way he's grown into someone his team looks to for direction. He didn't just show up to do a job. He invested in the work, asked the hard questions, and grew alongside the firm. That kind of dedication makes everyone around him better.
NOHMIS is a stronger firm because of Kyle, and we are so grateful to have him on the team.

Riverstone Plaza Progress Update: Steel Joists Are Set!
We are thrilled to share the latest milestone from our Riverstone Plaza project. Following a successful concrete pour, the formwork has been carefully removed, and we are moving forward with the roof structure.
While a full inspection will take place upon final completion, these routine progress checks ensure that every detail aligns precisely with our design specifications and high structural engineering standards.
Kudos to the onsite teams for keeping this project moving safely and smoothly. Stay tuned for more updates as Riverstone Plaza continues to take shape!
