“It’s just a decal.” 🤣

Except it’s not JUST a decal.

This custom Silverado truck decal started as a design on a computer and went through the full production process; designing, plotting, cutting, weeding, masking, quality checking, and packaging the vinyl vehicle graphics for both sides of the truck.

From custom truck decals and commercial vehicle graphics to fleet graphics, vinyl lettering, wraps, and large format printing, there’s a lot more behind the finished product than most people realize.

First wall wrap and apparently being the “technical” person doesn’t automatically make you a vinyl installer 😂

I’ve worked with the equipment, materials, production and technical side of signage for years but this was my first time actually installing a full vinyl wall wrap myself.

♻️ Most people see laminate backer paper as trash… we see another tool. 👀

The sign industry creates a lot of waste, and while it’s impossible to save everything, we try to reuse materials whenever we can.

Instead of throwing it away, we load the scrap into our Summa plotter to create full size installation patterns. 📐

Then we use the scroll method so our installers can unroll the template on site, keep everything aligned, and speed up the installation process. ✅

It’s one of those behind the scenes steps that saves time, reduces mistakes, and helps us deliver cleaner channel letter installations and custom signs.
