Catopia Cat Rescue is a 501c3 organization in South Florida. We need help through donations, fosters and loving homes for the animals we rescue.
Catopia Cat Rescue is a 100% volunteer and foster based rescue organization. This means that we do not have a facility to house cats or kittens we have for adoption and rely strictly on people like you to help us save lives. It takes an ARMY and without you we could not continue…
Do you love cats or kittens but don’t want the long term responsibility of providing them a home for 20+years?? Do you want to help but already have a full-house?? Have some spare time and want to make good use of it?? Do you just enjoy playing with cats and kittens?? We are always looking for animal lovers with a huge heart to help us provide for the cats and kittens of South Florida. Because of volunteers like you, we are able to dedicate our financial resources to the direct care of our animals. Here are various ways that you too can help us! Foster Homes: Foster homes are so important! All of the cats and kittens we save need a safe place for them to stay while we find them loving forever homes. We appreciate you opening your heart and home to save a life. If you want to foster a kitten or a litter of kittens, we ask that you be willing to provide a time commitment to foster them for at least one month or until they find a forever home. Your dedication allows us to help cats or kittens we would otherwise be unable to assist. Fosters are needed for various conditions such as:
Providing a safe, healthy and loving environment for cats, kittens and even mother cats to raise their kittens. Giving adult or long-term resident cats the ability to stay (or be) in a home setting. Socializing shy or timid cats and kittens. Providing sick or injured cats ability to heal in a quiet home environment. Bottle-feeding orphaned or abandoned kittens. These kittens require the most work and time but are the most rewarding. As with human infants, around the clock bottle feeding of kitten formula is required, as frequently as every 2-3 hours for newborns. Catopia will provide all veterinary care, food, litter, crate, bedding, and any necessary supplies while in your care. All we ask of you is that you provide a safe environment with lots of love. Transportation: Have some extra time that you can drop a kitty off to be spayed or for shots? Or maybe to pick her up? May seem like so little but often times it helps us so much! UPDATE: Lenny has been adopted to a wonderful family! Thank you to everyone for sharing Lenny, donated to Lenny and just loving Lenny!! He has his forever home!😻❤️. URGENT!!!!Please share little 12 week old Lenny with everyone you know. He will be losing his foster home, through no fault of his own, in a little over a week! His foster mom is having her first grandchild and will not be home to care for Lenny. Lenny is a healthy, sweet and loving little boy. He loves to snuggle, especially under your chin. He has had his shots and deworming and will be neutered and microchipped. We are looking for an adoption, but even if someone could foster him until he is adopted. He is such a wonderful little boy and it breaks my heart to think of him living in a cage until adoption. Everything will be paid for by Catopia, including food and litter if you want to foster! Happy rainy Saturday from Lenny! He's wondering who is going to adopt him! Lenny is such a sweet, fun, loving kitten who is patiently waiting for his forever home. He is approximately 11 weeks old and has had his shots and deworming and will be snap tested, neutered and microchipped. Who is looking for some special kitty love? Please share Lenny with all of your kitty loving friends!

Say good morning to 9 week old Lenny doing his morning exercise routine with his foster mommy, lifting weights and stretching, until he passed out from all of the exertion!! Who can resist this little nugget? He is the sweetest, loving, cuddly baby. We are getting him ready for his forever home and whomever adopts this lovebug will get a special little boy. Please share Lenny with all of your kitty loving friends! He will be fully vetted(he's had first shot, first deworming and baby Revolution), snap tested, neutered and microchipped.

I know I have said no more kittens, but meet Lenny! He was found screaming in the bushes on the corner of Oakland Park and Nob Hill with traffic speeding by. Who could leave this precious baby to fend for himself! He is only 9 weeks old and we are getting him ready for adoption. He is the sweetest, most loving kitten with the loudest purr. He is safe in a foster home and has had his first shot, been dewormed and had baby Revolution. He will have the rest of his treatments and then be neutered, snap tested and receive a microchip. Please share Lenny with all of your cat loving friends so we can find him his purrfect home! I will post some videos next. Today marks the 6th year anniversary of the death of our co-founder, Gina Carrone . It does not get any easier. Those who knew and loved Gina miss her everyday. She was the most loving, kind compassionate person who loved her friends and family and had a passion for rescuing cats in need. The world today could use a person like Gina. It is hard to believe six years have passed. We love you and miss you, Gina. Life is not the same without you. 💔
