Catopia Cat Rescue is a 501c3 organization in South Florida. We need help through donations, fosters and loving homes for the animals we rescue.

Catopia Cat Rescue is a 100% volunteer and foster based rescue organization. This means that we do not have a facility to house cats or kittens we have for adoption and rely strictly on people like you to help us save lives. It takes an ARMY and without you we could not continue…

Do you love cats or kittens but don’t want the long term responsibility of providing them a home for 20+years?? Do y

ou want to help but already have a full-house?? Have some spare time and want to make good use of it?? Do you just enjoy playing with cats and kittens?? We are always looking for animal lovers with a huge heart to help us provide for the cats and kittens of South Florida. Because of volunteers like you, we are able to dedicate our financial resources to the direct care of our animals. Here are various ways that you too can help us! Foster Homes: Foster homes are so important! All of the cats and kittens we save need a safe place for them to stay while we find them loving forever homes. We appreciate you opening your heart and home to save a life. If you want to foster a kitten or a litter of kittens, we ask that you be willing to provide a time commitment to foster them for at least one month or until they find a forever home. Your dedication allows us to help cats or kittens we would otherwise be unable to assist. Fosters are needed for various conditions such as:
Providing a safe, healthy and loving environment for cats, kittens and even mother cats to raise their kittens. Giving adult or long-term resident cats the ability to stay (or be) in a home setting. Socializing shy or timid cats and kittens. Providing sick or injured cats ability to heal in a quiet home environment. Bottle-feeding orphaned or abandoned kittens. These kittens require the most work and time but are the most rewarding. As with human infants, around the clock bottle feeding of kitten formula is required, as frequently as every 2-3 hours for newborns. Catopia will provide all veterinary care, food, litter, crate, bedding, and any necessary supplies while in your care. All we ask of you is that you provide a safe environment with lots of love. Transportation: Have some extra time that you can drop a kitty off to be spayed or for shots? Or maybe to pick her up? May seem like so little but often times it helps us so much! Please fill out our volunteer application if you can help with things like this, and also make sure you keep an eye on our page which is where we often request that kind of help! Application:

It is officially !! Please make a tax deductible donation today to the kitties of Catopia!! We are grateful for your support! This , December 2, I am raising money for the older and senior permanent fosters of Catopia. The majority of them have chronic health issues requiring special foods, medications and vet care. And we have run out of money. Cookie has a chronic urinary issue and had surgery for a stone earlier this year. She eats a prescription diet that costs $120 every 3 weeks, just for her. Chris has chronic asthma and respiratory issues requiring medication and close monitoring. Luna had a stone removed from her bladder and eats expensive prescription food. And another, Harper, needs a dental. So any amount, no matter how large or small, will go 100% to the care of these Catopia kitties.
I am so grateful to those who have continued to support me and Catopia, even after the passing of our beloved co-founder, Gina Carrone . She is missed beyond words. Thank you in advance for your donation!

Happy Thanksgiving from Catopia's kitties. Our fosters are grateful to have warm beds, healthy food, a great vet and most importantly, love. Thank you for supporting them!

Today we are raising money to care for our permanent fosters in honor of Gina Carrone, our co-founder, who passed away 5 years ago today. How have 1825 days gone by without you? Some of our permanent fosters were rescued by Gina. Those that knew her, know she was the heart of Catopia. Her kindness, love, generosity and gentle soul are missed beyond words.
Catopia was started by Gina, Cindy and I long before we became a non profit in 2014. It has been extremely difficult to run the rescue by myself, especially after I was left 11 adult cats by a foster mom. Some of the permanent fosters we have need costly prscriptions and prescription food. Chris used medication costing over $200 a month and Cookie eats prescription food that costs $120 every 3 weeks!!
I am grateful to all of our supporters for your unwavering support of Catopia. Any amount no matter how small or large is appreciated so we can continue Gina's legacy. As many of you know, we were hacked here on Facebook and our website stolen by bad people. Facebook has been completely unhelpful.
