“You can play around on IMACS, just as the students are playing on the IMACS letters in the drawing.” 💙 Aya L.

These drawings are more than artwork — they’re a glimpse into how our students see themselves growing 🌟
From logic games to big “aha!” moments, we love seeing the creativity and confidence our students build through IMACS.
Thank you to this week’s featured artists for sharing your imagination with us 🎨

“IMACS makes me smarter, and I’m happy I joined. My favorite games are String Game and Finding a Secret Number.” – Matvii, age 6 💙

At IMACS, we teach more than math.

We help students build confidence, think strategically, and discover what they’re capable of — and these drawings captured that beautifully 💙

Thank you to this week’s featured students for showing us what IMACS means to YOU ✨

We can’t wait to share more incredible artwork from our community.

Most math programs teach kids how to follow rules. At IMACS, we teach them how to build an architecture. [OR - we help them build a foundation for deeper thinking - I kept going back and forth between the two - because I'm not sure about "building an architecture".]
When Adam walked into his first high-level math course at Stanford University, he expected to feel "rusty" after five years away from the Elements of Mathematics: Foundations (EMF) curriculum.
Instead, he felt fluent.
While many of his classmates were encountering abstract mathematical ideas for the first time, Adam realized he had already developed those mental frameworks years earlier.
Created by the same team behind IMACS, EMF uses the same logic-first approach to help students understand why ideas work, not just how to follow procedures.
Read Adam’s full story and learn how a strong foundation can support your child’s future goals: https://www.imacs.org/how-emf-math-builds-fluent-university-level-learners/

“IMACS is my brain’s favorite flavor of math to eat up!” – Caly 💙
What does IMACS mean to our students?
Confidence.
Challenge.
Creativity.

And learning how to think in new ways 💡
We loved seeing the ideas our students brought to life in this week’s drawings. Every picture tells a story about growth, curiosity, and problem-solving.

Here’s to another amazing group of IMACS artists and thinkers 🎨🧠

Okay but this trend was MADE for education brands 😂

The difference?
One explains the curriculum.
The other explains what parents actually feel when their child starts understanding math for the first time.

And honestly… both are true 💙

“IMACS has helped me grow, pass tests, and get into gifted programs. Its advanced courses have helped me think like a high schooler even though I’m only a fourth grader!” – Pranavi 💙

Seeing IMACS through our students’ eyes is the best reminder of why we do what we do.
From logic games and strategy to confidence and creativity, these drawings show what IMACS means to them — and we couldn’t love them more.
This week, we’re celebrating the first group of student artists from our IMACS drawing extra credit activity 🎨✨

Thank you to all of our students for sharing your imagination with us. We are so proud of the thinkers, problem-solvers, and creators you’re becoming.
