Career Day for the 5th graders at Lutz Elementary 💕🥹 One student asked me, “Do you ever get tired and feel like giving up?” And I told her the truth. EVERY. SINGLE. DAY. But if I really sit down and reflect I owe them more than quitting. Because I want to be for them what I needed for myself. 👏

One of my favorite days of the year: career day at Lutz Elementary!! Oh how I wish we had opportunities like this when we were kids…to hear about all different types of industries. I love inspiring the students to turn their passions into a purpose-driven business (like mine)! 💕

What if instead of constantly criticizing and trying to change girls' bodies, we give them opportunities to use the bodies they have NOW for good?
If I were given an opportunity like youth girls wrestling, maybe I could have viewed my short and stocky stature as a positive, and instead of trying to always shrink myself, I could have learned how to grow my strength?!
It's impossible to change the past, but it's very much possible to look at my daughter and realize that I can help reframe the narrative and give her (and her peers) a better outlook than I had!

Have you thought about what your legacy will be? I’ve been thinking about it often and what I want my kids to learn from me. If I could sum it up, I hope my kids say, “My mom showed me that it’s ok to FEEL. And when I’m not feeling great I have some tools to help shift my mindset.” It’s what I teach at my workshops to kiddos all the time. I can’t forget to share my work with the ones that have my whole heart. 💕
